On Monday, Dec. 1,, University of Central Arkansas alumni and friends who belong to the prestigious President’s Club were treated to a private production of UCA’s Ye Old Christmas Madrigal Feaste.
President’s Club members are those who contribute at least $1,000 annually to the UCA Foundation.
Nearly 200 President’s Club members attended a special holiday reception at the president’s home prior to the dinner and performance.
After the reception, guests entered a candle-lit McCastlain Hall where each was announced as a lord or lady, then escorted to their seats. Once the guests were seated, the Madrigal Choir, led by Choral Director John Erwin, heralded the procession of the evening with the support of occasional narratives by a colorful jester.
