LOVE OF SPACE AN INSPIRATION TO KITCHEN UPGRADE

Wes and Keitha Holland purchased their traditional home in Conway’s Sherman Oaks subdivision a little more than two years ago. While they loved the structure and ambiance of the home immediately, they updated certain elements to make it more comfortable for their family, which includes two children, Meg and Max.
“We loved the kitchen immediately; in fact, it was one of the main selling points of the house. The previous owners did some updating; they put granite on the island, and there was a new light fixture above the island as well,” Keitha said.

Lisa Coker revives Vilonia home battered by tornado

After recovering from the devastation of the 2011 tornado, Vilonia resident and interior designer Lisa Coker has reclaimed the home that barely survived the disaster.
A tornado hit the Vilonia area hard on April 25, 2011. Coker said she is thankful no one in her family was hurt in the tornado. It is difficult to think about her material losses in light of the fact that lives were lost in the storm, she said.

Brandie Martin designs a space her daughter can grow in

On the second floor of the Northwest Conway home of Trey, Brandie, J.T. and Tinsley Martin exists a little girl’s haven. Filled with bright colors — and plenty of ideas for growth — Tinsley Martin’s room is an inspiration in planning for a room to grow along with your child.

As we welcome in the new year people everywhere are making resolutions — to lose weight, to exercise more, to get organized, etc. How about a resolution that is easy to accomplish and is something that will have an impact on your life for years to come?

Mother of triplets, Holly Meriwether reminisces on her 'babies', now 10th-graders

After our 20-minute conversation, I was once again completely in awe of the woman I had the pleasure of catching up with. Holly Meriwether is a lady who with every breath demonstrates an ease of conversation, an attention to detail and order, and a very apparent love for her extraordinarily blessed family.

Imagine the glow of a crackling, warm fire while relaxing outside on a cool, crisp night under a starry sky… a very familiar scene at the Cloe home in Sunderlin Park, one of west Conway’s beautiful neighborhoods. Jeff and Julie Cloe, together with their children Elizabeth, Carter, and Kennedy, love their outdoor living area! It is perfectly situated just off the kitchen and great room of their home making it visible from both rooms. There is a flagstone walkway leading from the back porch to this area.

Tami Risinger answers the front door to her beautiful Centennial Valley home apologetically; she is in the middle of getting ready for our meeting. But rather than being rattled by my slightly early arrival, Tami gives me a little half hug, offers me a drink, and shows me to a comfortable seat in her bright, spacious office. Our introduction is a great metaphor for Tami herself: a friendly, not easily rattled woman who rolls with the punches.

The act of traveling, of going from one place to another, can be viewed as a natural metaphor for learning. The experiences from traveling increase knowledge. In his epic, The Odyssey, Homer describes Odysseus as “widely traveled” and therefore ingenious: literally as having turned in many directions. The same could be said be said of Marty and Sheri Carley, a couple who recently made Conway their home.

Blues, greens, and golds are emphasized around the mirror above the foyer table.

As I walk up the sidewalk of the McCrary family home located in the Madison Place subdivision, I am greeted at the front door by Tiffani McCrary, the one responsible for all the beautiful decorations inside and outside of this home.
She invites me in and just as I step in the entryway of her home, I am in awe! We make our way to the family room and take a seat next to one of the nine (and possibly soon to be 10!) amazing Christmas trees displayed throughout the home.

Splashes of classic red, green, and gold are tastefully used through the Childress home.

Nestled quietly amongst the tree-covered lots and winding streets of beautiful Richland Hills subdivision, you discover the lovely home of Todd and Janie Childress of Conway.  The Childress home, which was entirely planned and designed by Todd, is located at 66 Richland Hills Drive.  This magnificent house is tastefully decorated with traditional Christmas hues of red, green, and gold as colorful plaid ribbons and bows accent garland at various focal points throughout the residence.
